DESCRIPTION:

Activated charcoal is obtained by dry distillation from Eucalyptus wood (Eucalyptus urophylla), or from The wood of Betula alba and others belonging to the genera Salix, Populus and Tilia. After an appropriate washing, the extract is obtained which comes in the form of a black powder, fine and odorless. Originally it comes in black pieces or masses, law-re, porous, fragile, sonorous, with shiny fracture and that often preserve the shape and structure of the plant from which they are obtained. In powder it is very fine, light, dry m impalpable and tasteless. 

Charcoal has the property of physically binding to numerous substances and gases, and this absorbent power causes it to find usefulness in intestinal diseases (diarrhea, dysentery), meteorism, intoxications with broken foods, poisoning by arsenic, phosphorus, drugs taken orally. It counteracts intestinal fermentation, aerophagia, gastritis, lowers cholesterol, useful in intestinal dilation, in the irritated colon, in those suffering from kidney diseases, in arteriosclerosis. Coal has the ability to absorb toxins and residues from or-ganism. It is also a food bactericide and detoxifier and also fights bad breath due to abnormal intestinal fermentation.

PREPRARATION:

1 to 2 g at each meal, or a single spoonful in the morning. External use:  powders and toothpastes. It is used in the form of tablets: from 1 to 2 g per day for convenience reasons, but also in spoons.

WARNINGS:

Taking charcoal the stool can be dark, it is imperative to take vitamins and minerals together At the indicated doses has no side effects. It should not be used during pregnancy and lactation, do not use if there are acute abdominal pains of unknown origin, if there is nausea and vomiting, intestinal obstruction, rectal bleeding and, due to the presence of sugar, this product should not be given to diabetics.
