Inside, bananas contain a high percentage of water, equal to almost 75% of the fruit. The remaining composition is divided into carbohydrates (23%), fiber (2.6%), protein (1%) and fat (0.3%). Bananas are also an excellent natural source of vitamins.

In bananas, pro-vitamin A, B vitamins ( B1 , B2 and PP) and vitamin C are present. Vitamin E and vitamin B6 are also present, albeit in smaller quantities.

Of considerable importance is also the presence of potassium. The banana in fact, thanks to this element, facilitates the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system. Potassium is an essential mineral that helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates the balance of water in the body.

We can therefore say that the banana is an extraordinary source of energy to the point that it is supposed that consuming two of them would give the charge to face 90 minutes of intense training. It is also preferable to other \"supplements\", even if natural, by virtue of its digestibility.

It\'s breakfast time: coffee, orange juice and... banana bread! A soft and tasty dessert with banana pulp and cinnamon aroma. This rich plumcake of Anglo-Saxon origins is also perfect for a brunch, slightly heated in the oven and served with butter and jams, or for a hearty snack. The scent being cooked will spread in the kitchen and, once ready, slice after slice will disappear in a heartbeat! Quick and easy to prepare, it is also a way, like the banana and peanut donut, to use those bananas that are often forgotten in the fruit basket, too ripe to be enjoyed in purity. Try our version of banana bread and enrich it to taste with chocolate chips, walnuts or coarsely chopped hazelnuts. It will be even better!

INGREDIENTS:

- Bananas 450g
- Butter 120g
- Flour 00 200g
- Sugar 120g
- Eggs 2
- Cinnamon powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Baking powder 6g
- Bicarbonate 3g
- Lemon juice and fine salt to taste

PROCEDURE:
\n
To prepare the banana bread start by peeling the bananas and cutting them into slices. Pour them into a bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent them from blackening. Crush them with a fork to reduce them to puree and set aside. In another bowl pour the butter into small pieces, soft but still plastic, and sugar. Work with an electric whisk and when you have obtained a homogeneous mixture add the eggs, possibly one at a time to incorporate them better. Add a pinch of salt, then pour the banana puree. Stir and continue by adding the sifted flour with baking soda and baking powder. Flavor with cinnamon and stir again. Pour the dough into the plumcake mold and level it. Bake in a preheated static oven at 180 degrees for about 60 minutes. Test the toothpick at the end of cooking, then take your banana bread out of the oven and let it cool before unmolding it. Enjoy the banana bread in purity or accompanied with butter, peanut butter or jams.
