- Black pepper is the most known and used variety of pepper in our kitchens. Obtained from fruits harvested mid-ripening, black pepper is an extremely versatile spice, perfect on meat, fish and cheeses as well as on first courses, soups and side dishes. It is also used to flavor cured meats and sausages.
- White pepper is obtained instead from the maceration of the ripe fruit of the black pepper plant until the seed is obtained which is subsequently dried. White pepper, despite being light in color, is a very aromatic spice.
- Pink pepper, considered the most delicate variety of pepper, is suitable for flavoring fish dishes but also fresh cheeses, carpaccio and white meats.
- Green pepper is distinguished from other varieties by its herbaceous and very fresh aftertaste. The spice is mainly used to flavor fish dishes or even second courses based on chicken or duck.
