Antioxidant Herbal Tea

Ideal to drink every day. The components present in this herbal tea are known for their antioxidant properties.

Ingredients:

• Goji berries;
• Green Tea;
• Rosehip;
• Green Coffee.

Antioxidants are substances that can neutralize free radicals and protect the body from their negative action.

Free radicals are able to damage cellular structures such as the plasma membrane and DNA. The negative action of free radicals has repercussions on the health of the whole organism:

• Accelerating the processes of cellular aging;
• Depressing the immune system;
• Favoring the onset of numerous diseases and tumor forms.

Ginger turns out to be an exceptional antioxidant, even some resistant to heat so that in cooking it increases its activity. The consumption of ginger in association with these other herbs would create a synergy between the various antioxidant compounds, this involves an enhancement of their antioxidant effects.

Goji berries are rich in natural antioxidants that make them a valuable aid in counteracting free radicals. They help us protect the skin and tissues of our body and help strengthen the immune system and prevent disease.

The shoots of the leaves and the young leaves of green tea contain the highest percentage of antioxidant principles found in nature, useful to counteract the formation of free radicals, responsible for cellular aging. The polyphenols present are anti-radical, more powerful even than vitamin C and E.

As for Green Tea, the antioxidant action is mainly given by flavonoids and in particular by catechins that contribute to supporting cardiac functions and contribute to the maintenance of a good state of health. These substances also reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels, exerting, for this reason, a protective action against cardiovascular diseases, atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease. It is very useful to counteract the negative effects of smoking.

Rosehip is an excellent tonic to cope with exhaustion and fatigue, helps to defeat stress; stimulates the elimination of toxins (especially uric acids, which cause gout and rheumatism) through diuresis.

In green coffee there are also substances with antioxidant action such as tannic acid and ferulic acid that counteract the effect of free radicals, responsible for cellular aging, and reduce the onset of gout.
