Sesame seeds
Sesame seeds can be divided into three categories, very similar in terms of nutritional properties and beneficial elements, but with some slight differences: white, the most widespread, which contain a slightly higher amount of calcium; blacks, the most difficult to find; red, which compared to others contain a greater amount of iron.
The main peculiarity of sesame seeds is the high presence of calcium, this feature makes them a valid aid to strengthen bones and teeth.
But sesame seeds are also rich in magnesium, phosphorus, iron, manganese, selenium, zinc, protein, folic acid. Their content of beneficial substances gives them the ability to prevent certain forms of cancer and fight aging.
In addition, sesame seeds keep "bad" cholesterol (LDL) under control as they provide oleic and linoleic acid and increase "good" cholesterol (HDL). They are also a valuable ally of the liver and gastrointestinal tract (they fight constipation among other things), strengthen the immune system and improve blood circulation (thanks to Lignans, substances that help control blood pressure).
Finally, sesame seeds are excellent as a tonic for children (recommended after 2 years of age) and promote their growth.
Mile
Millet looks like a small yellow seed. Millet (Panicum miliaceum, L.) is an annual herbaceous plant belonging to the Poaceae (or Gramineaceae) family. It is a very precious food for our body as it is rich in beneficial and nutritional properties. In fact, millet is particularly valuable because it contains proteins and is gluten-free; for this reason it is a food suitable for vegans, vegetarians and those suffering from celiac disease. This cereal is able to bring benefits in case of tiredness and exhaustion.
Eating millet can improve your overall well-being by providing essential nutrients for our health. Small whole grain has a slightly nutty taste. Millet is able to absorb water in the same way as rice or quinoa. Once the water is boiled, the result is a soft, nutritious grain that can be served as a side dish or appetizer.
Hazelnuts
Since ancient times, hazelnuts have been attributed nutritional, healing and even divinatory properties. Hazelnuts are among the fruits richest in vitamin E: 100 grams of hazelnuts contain about 86%. Our body greatly needs the presence of vitamin E as it protects the skin from the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays and premature aging. Hazelnuts also contain phytosterols, substances useful for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and good fats. The latter fans that hazelnuts are considered beneficial to the heart. In this dried fruit we also find a high content of vitamin B6, necessary for the creation of myelin, which increases the speed and effectiveness of nerve impulses. A regular consumption of hazelnuts allows you to enjoy different benefits due to the substances present in them (magnesium, potassium, calcium, copper ...).
