Carob for digestive problems
It is advisable to examine the consumption of carob if you have digestive problems. Carob tannins, which are dietary compounds found in plants, are different from regular plant tannins. Regular vegetable tannins dissolve in water and prevent digestion, but carob tannins do not. Rather, they have a drying effect on the digestive tract that helps address toxins and prevent harmful bacterial growth in the gut.
The natural sugars found in carob also help thicken loose stools. Research suggests that carob bean juice may be a safe and effective way to treat diarrhea in children and adults.

Carob liqueur. If you want to prepare it at home, we advise you to leave the carob pods infused inside the alcohol. Macerate everything for about a month, stirring occasionally.
