Apples
\n
Apples are a source of essential nutrients.
\n
FIBER: One of the main advantages of dehydrated apples is their dietary fiber content. In fact, fiber helps to keep our body regular: it swells and softens the stool to prevent constipation. It also slows down digestion, preventing blood sugar spikes that leave you tired and hungry.
\n
\n
VITAMINS: Dehydrated apples also provide a source of vitamins for the benefit of health. Apples contain very small amounts of other vitamins C and A, two nutrients that keep your skin and bones strong and healthy. In addition, they have high levels of B vitamins, which collectively support metabolism and nourish the liver and skin. Both vitamins help produce neurotransmitters, chemicals necessary for brain function.

MINERALS: Dehydrated apples are also beneficial for health because of their mineral content. They contain potassium, a mineral essential for the functioning of the nerve and brain, and also a small amount of iron. The latter serves to create new red blood cells, so that the tissues can receive a new supply of oxygen from the bloodstream. Eating dehydrated apples provides small amounts of other minerals, including copper, manganese and selenium.

These fruits also contain fructose, a sugar with a low glycemic index, which keeps blood sugar relatively constant and which can be consumed in moderation even by diabetics. Thanks to the good content in fiber and oxalic acid, the apple has whitening properties and chewed for a long time at the end of a meal cleans the teeth.

Dehydrated apples: In the kitchen
\n
Dehydrated apples prove useful in cooking, giving flavor to a wide range of dishes:
\n
Try heating the chopped dehydrated apples on a hob along with dried blueberries, apple cider and cinnamon to create a sweet seasoning that goes well with lean pork loin or chicken breast.
\n
Try pairing dehydrated apple with nuts and mixed seeds for an energetic mix that you can enjoy when you\'re always on the go.
\n
Compared to fresh fruit, dehydrated fruit loses water and concentrates fiber, sugars and minerals, thus becoming a nutritious, satiating and not excessively caloric snack. This type of fruit is really ideal as a delicious snack!
