Turmeric in the kitchen
\n
Associated with black pepper and a fat (e.g. olive oil) it helps to benefit from its properties to the fullest. We recommend using it raw, to better enjoy its flavor with distinctly oriental notes, but it can be used in many recipes. In addition, you can simply add a couple of teaspoons of turmeric to the pasta cooking water or sprinkle directly on the dressing or in salads.
\n
Half a teaspoon in a cup of black tea will give a particularly Middle Eastern flavor to the drink. In oriental medicines, in case of intestinal disorders, a tablespoon of turmeric is dissolved in a glass of warm water; this will help to digest better and benefit from all the properties of turmeric.

... for skin and hair care
\n
Prepare in a bowl a mix consisting of a tablespoon of turmeric powder, a few drops of lemon juice and a little water until you get a homogeneous mixture. Spread the mixture on the face and let it act for 10/15 minutes before proceeding with the rinse. The yellowish color that turmeric releases on the skin will go away naturally after two or three washes.
\n
\n
Turmeric is highly recommended on hair and skin. A compress with water and turmeric will help accentuate the gold-colored reflections of your hair. It is not recommended to use it on very light hair, due to the strong dyeing capacity of turmeric. Do not forget to use gloves during application. Turmeric fights dandruff and will make you always have bright and soft hair.
