The Apple and Cinnamon herbal tea is an excellent remedy to face the autumn as it allows you to have the right energy against tiredness, exhaustion and drowsiness.

The apple has always been a natural remedy against asthma and bronchitis thanks to the presence in the fruit of flavonoids and pectin. The latter, in addition to regulating blood sugar levels, allows us to improve our intestinal transit and, at the same time, clean the walls of these organs of toxins and bacteria. A clean intestine allows us to better absorb nutrients.

Cinnamon, on the other hand, is a natural spice with strong antibacterial properties and rich in proteins, fiber, minerals, iron and magnesum. Cinnamon also soothes the pains caused by arthritis and arthrosis, also relieving sore throats and giving well-being to the respiratory tract. 

The combination of these two products, apple and cinnamon, acts on the intestine, regularizing its function and solving small constipation problems where it is needed.

• Karkadè: it is a plant of the Malvaceae family, rich in polyphenols is useful in case of sore throat, hypertension, cough, cold. 

• Rosa canina: a strong natural remedy rich in vitamin C, which helps strengthen our immune system and improve its functioning.

• Orange peel.

Apple and Cinnamon: Preparation

The preparation of an herbal tea based on apple and cinnamon is really very simple. It is necessary to boil in a saucepan the peel of the apple, the cinnamon and some cloves. Everything is then left to rest over low heat for about 5 minutes. When the infusion is cold, strain all the contents and add two tablespoons of honey and the juice of half a lemon.

Enjoy it at the end of a meal, as a snack or for a warm evening caress.
